Roman B. Hedges
Roman B. Hedges was Deputy Secretary of the New York State Assembly Committee on Ways and Means where he managed legislative operations, supervised research, and directed the budget, fiscal, and economic activities of the committee. He also served in a number of other positions in the Assembly. He was an Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at the State University of New York at Albany where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in American politics, research methodology, and public policy and conducted a research program in government, politics, and policy which resulted in numerous scholarly publications, professional papers, and reports. He is a member of the board of the Dormitory of that State of New York. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Knox College.
Mr. Hedges is the appointee of the Speaker of the New York State Assembly.
